BALALLY PARISH ASSEMBLY 2015 – REPORT On 9th March there was a special Parish Assembly to discuss questions relating to the upcoming Synod of Bishops in Rome in October 2015 on the subject of “The Vocation and Mission of the Family”. The Assembly attracted 60-65 people. There was an open, lively and honest discussion of many issues relating to marriage and the family. The issues discussed included: married life, marriage breakdown, marriage preparation, cohabitation, same sex unions and the situation for divorced and remarried couples in relation to  the Eucharist. The views of the assembly were written up, sent to the Diocese for submission to Rome and are posted here on the parish website. (click here to view the report)
